At least 26 people were killed in a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
The tragedy is the third deadliest mass killing at a school in U.S. history. A gunman killed 32 people at Virginia Tech in 2007, and a former school board member killed 45 people with three bombs in 1927 in Bath Township, Mich.
CNN reports that the suspected shooter is named Ryan Lanza, a male in his 20s.
