A bomb squad is working at Hart and Russell Senate office buildings after suspicious envelopes were sent to the third floors of each building, Politicoreports.
Sen. Richard Shelby's office has confirmed Capitol Police are investigating suspicious package at his office in Russell Senate office building. Several parts of the buildings have been evacuated.
An all clear has been given as of 12:45 p.m.
There is a planned White House briefing to address the suspicious envelopes potentially containing the poisonous substance ricin that have arrived on Capitol Hill.
