The man allegedly behind a notorious eBay account has been unmasked.
Rob Wolchek at Fox 2 in Detroit launched an investigation to find the person with the username "ebayisajoke."
The account is notorious for outbidding people and refusing to pay, according to Wolchek. The person also leaves long, negative product reviews criticizing everything from individual merchants to eBay and PayPal's business practices.
The person behind the mask is Charles "Chuck" Fitch, a Canton, Mich. man who lives alone and rarely leaves the house, Fox 2 reports.
When Wolchek confronted Fitch, he didn't deny he was behind "ebayisajoke." There's a website, ebayblows.org, that is also affiliated with the account.
