The Daily Caller has released its law school "gulags" list -- a ranking of the country's very worst ABA-accredited law schools.

The Washington D.C.-based news website ranked the schools based on employment data, U.S. News & World Report ranking, cost, and other factors.

Four of the 10 worst law schools are in California, including the absolute worst: Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa.

Whittier's 2011 graduates are some of the most indebted in the nation, carrying an average of $138,961 in debt, according to U.S. News.

Their median starting salary, if they work in the better-paying private sector, is just $67,000.

On top of the grim employment and debt outlook, the school's campus might not have that much to offer, either.

"The whole campus felt like a weird office park/high school campus to me," one prospective law student complained on the website Top Law Schools.

Head over to the Daily Caller for the full list of the worst law schools.
