The Supreme Court's most vocal justice takes pride in every enemy he's made during his time on the bench because it means he's doing something right.
"A man who has made no enemies is probably not a very good man," Justice Antonin Scalia told Charlie Rose last week.
In the wide-ranging interview, the pair discussed everything from critics to the problems with judicial confirmations.
Scalia also touched on the fact he is one of the most hated justices on the high court despite what Rose described as his "charming" personality.
"I think I'm a pretty nice fella," Scalia told Rose, adding he thinks he has so many enemies simply because he's so consistent about following his beliefs.
Scalia calls himself a textualist, meaning he believes the Constitution should be interpreted based on what the Founders thought to be true at the time of its ratification.
We can't embed the video but the pair's conversation about enemies begins around the 32-minute mark.
