Apple had been suing Amazon over its use of the term "App Store" to describe its Android-based app store.
Apple calls its app store, "App Store," and therefore believed it held an exclusive right to the name.
According to an alert from Bloomberg News, Amazon won a dismissal of Apple's claim against Amazon.
This is probably for the best. Trying to trademark App Store seems silly.
